Since my husband’s birthday and mother’s day fell around the same week we decided to take a couple of days off and take a short family trip to Los Angeles. A holiday jam packed with activities with a toddler has been quite a challenge, since neither of us had been to the west coast before we wanted to make the best of our time there and see as much of LA as we could. We took the late night flight from Chicago on American Airlines that reached LA at 10pm. It was a four hour plane journey, the flight wasn’t full so we managed to get a separate seat for baby A. The plane was small but the seats were very comfortable and Kudos to American Airline for taking off on time and landing 30 minutes earlier than scheduled.
We took a shuttle to the car rental pick up and being in an over excited adventurous mood chose a Red two door Jeep Wrangler to be our ride for the holiday. It was a challenge to fit our luggage in the boot. The bags, bugaboo stroller along with the car seat at the back was quite a task. We headed straight to the Sheraton LA Downtown Hotel which was our home for the next 3 nights. We took a room with 2 Queens as Baby A slept on one with pillows on both sides and us on the other. The hotel is currently undergoing construction on its front but its rooms and service was absolutely on point. It was very centrally located as well, everywhere we wanted to go was within a 30 minute drive. We loved our stay there and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!
